I promise we didn’t forget about making this post. It definitely took us a while, but we’ve been doing a lot of upkeep and organizing since we got back from the convention.

We live in interesting times, and when I say we I mean me and maybe someone like Elon Musk, I guess. What I’m trying to say is that things have been pretty exciting as of late for the whole team. For those of you who may not be aware, we recently traveled up to Orlando to take part in OrlandoIX which was holding its first ever “Game Experience” thing that was all part of the greater convention. All this mean is that there was a gaming-centric portion to the convention and we managed to be a part of it.

The convention was a great experience and was the first time we’ve ever showcased our work in any form. The reception we got was completely unexpected in the best way possible. So many people came to our booth and checked out our extremely early form of Wasabi Horizon which we got very encouraging positive feedback for. Wasabi Horizon is still in a shockingly rough state, but there are some good bones in there. There’s still plenty of work to do and using the feedback we got at the convention we will be tuning and tweaking things to make sure it stays a fast and fun experience.

After we got home from the con we felt energized and enlightened and dove head first into a perfectly timed Game Jam. Game Jams are always incredibly fun and give us the opportunity to flex our creative muscles. It lets us know that we aren’t just a one-trick pony — it turns out we got plenty of tricks. The Game Jam has been going strong but we totally missed the deadline. We really like what we’ve made so far and decided to keep going to finish it up and put it out in the world in one form or another. We don’t know the specifics just yet, but we’ll announce all that cool stuff when we get closer to completion. We’ve posted a few images on Facebook and all that to give you a tiny idea of what it’s going to look like and we’ll continue to do so. Stay tuned and expect frequent updates here and all over.
